I started face painting in 2009 as a creative outlet and a way to make a little money on the weekends. I took a workshop in 2013 for face painting but it was in a Special FX studio, Toxic Image Studios. Not only was I amazed by the makeup prosthetics but the owner had photos of his body painting which was absolutely amazing!!!
This was my very first body paint, painted on my friend, Sara. She was a great model, and I had so much fun doing the paint. It was a way for me to expand on my face painting and it was a challenge! Not everyone can paint a human body for 7-11 hours. It takes stamina, patience, practice and a model who has all those qualities too!
The end result is my absolute favorite part. Getting the photos and being to able to see what I can improve and what things I really like help me get better every time.
